When Peter Krupa, a local Real Estate Agent and developer first visited Punta Cana, he didn’t expect that it would be a trip that changed his life. Originally from Poland, he gained a wealth of experience in the Real Estate industry, before his first visit to the Dominican Republic.
“It was a freezing cold day in December when I was offered a temporary job on a paradise island, the only thing I knew about Punta Cana was that it was a popular destination for weddings, but I was happy to have the opportunity to be paid to live and work in such a sought after destination.” Peter spent three months helping a friend with his businesses on the island and instantly fell in love with the Punta Cana area. “I was amazed by the sheer diversity of people, it truly is melting pot of cultures, here no one asks you what religion you follow, nor does the color of your skin matter to anyone, everyone is happy to get along and enjoy living.”
After three months, he returned to Poland with the Dominican Republic firmly in his heart. “I went back to Poland with a head full of ideas, I had many meetings telling colleagues about my many adventures and how I saw huge potential for business. I had already decided that I would invest my time and experience, and heart to create something new for the area, that would bring fresh prospects for locals and foreign investors.” Peter laughs: “That was the moment when I decided I would be an ambassador for Poland in the Dominican Republic, and an ambassador for the Dominican Republic to Poland. I had an idea to present the interests of each country to the other and create an opportunity for investors to use their money to support the Dominican Real Estate market.”
And so 33 Renova Expert SRL was born, a Dominican company connecting Polish business to real estate in Punta Cana. “Our services are directed not only to investors operating large amounts of money, who can earn from construction and development projects in a fast growing tourist destination, but also for individual investors buying an apartment or other property. It is a great place to earn on short and long term rentals, and take advantage of earning interest on the rising value of property in the Bavaro and Punta Cana region.” At the moment, 33 Renova Expert SRL offers two different brands for each group of investor. Isla Feliz for our investors who want to try their hand in the construction market, and Homebroker as a Real Estate agency working with our individual clients looking for their own piece of paradise.
And when asked what other ideas he has for the area Peter says with a smile: “I have only been here for two years, and I have changed my life completely both personally and professionally, I have met a lot of new people and new friends without whom I wouldn’t be able to do anything, especially with my broken Spanish, and I truly give thanks to them. I have a lot of plans here and the only thing I am missing is time! However, I am excited about what the future holds and for sure you’ll be seeing me around not only with Renova Expert, but with my other ideas too. Punta Cana really is a place with huge potential to grow and develop, just give me more time!”
